WHAT IS MOVEMENT4ALL

Movement4All is a series of somatic exercises and explorations that melt away resistance, judgment, false fears or limiting beliefs. This Mindful-Awareness and Heartfelt-Acceptance the practice of listening to our feelings and allowing them to literally move you, while at the same time staying in contact with the moment and the world around us.

 

Much of life's conditioning creates mental, emotional and physical blocks from past experiences. Unprocessed experience literally gets stuck in the body in the form of tension patterns. People experience these blocks as fear, anxiety, depression, reactiveness and the list goes on. These habits (mental, emotional and physical) shape the quality of every aspect of our life.

 

Through motion and sound exercises participants discover and gently peal back the layers of defense. Little by little people begin to let go of what they no longer need.

 

Originally these exercises were created for actor training however the benefits go far beyond the scope of the performing arts. This Somatic/Movement Technique releases physical, mental and emotional blocks & tension patterns to reawaken your inner child, sense of curiosity, self-love, joy of intimacy, play and wonder. This class is a blend of the Williamson Technique, Alexander Technique & Laban basics.

 

Freedom from the weight of the past is liberating, inspiring and improves every aspect of our life. While this is not therapy it can be a powerful supplement.

ONLINE PRACTICE

 

The 8 Week Movement4All Class, is 2.5 hours long and meets once a week. It is an introduction to the 1 Year Somatic Release/Movement Program. The focus of this Intro Class is to remove defenses and open your heart.

 

There are specific clear guidelines, so the group can create a deeply respectful, safe, boundary honoring, non-judgmental, agenda-free environment for deep mental, emotional & physical exploration/growth. The group is a harmonious, compassionate movement family going on a powerful journey together. A journey that expands awareness, deeper self-understanding and acceptance, and one that enriches and deepens our connection with others.

 

This class is perfect blend of the Williamson Technique, Alexander Technique & some Laban Movement Analysis basics.
